This beautiful landscape was captured at the Nasketucket Bay State Reservation in Fairhaven Massachusetts. A collection of seashells resting on this standing driftwood next to the wooden planks of a washed up wood ship hull.

This rocky shoreline is scattered with stones and a piece of driftwood in the foreground, tied with weathered rope. The sea stretches out under a cloudy sky with dark clouds gathering on the horizon.

Turbulent waters surging on the coastline encircled by conglomerate rocks

Monochrome depiction of tranquil waters with the radiant sun above reflecting off the surface
Fluffy mushroom perched on a mossy fern, encircled by fallen leaves

WITHIN THIS VIBRANT FOREST OF FERNS AND TREES, TWO BOULDERS HAVE FORMED IN THESE MYSTERIOUS WOODLANDS

This tranquil rural scene depicts a lush green field with grazing cattle and a few dispersed trees under a clear blue sky. Farm buildings, including a silo and a farmhouse, can be seen in the distance, creating a serene countryside atmosphere.

Contrasts of illumination and obscurity accentuating a cluster of birch trees

BUTLER FLATS LIGHTHOUSE - NEW BEDFORD, MA
The light was designed by F. Hopkinson Smith, known for his work on the foundation of the Statue of Liberty. It was built with a brick tower on a cylindrical, cast-iron and concrete caisson foundation.
The lighthouse was automated in 1978 and now serves as a private aid to navigation. After being rendered obsolete by the completion of the New Bedford Hurricane Barrier, it was turned over to the city of New Bedford.
The lighthouse is not open to the public, as it is accessible only by boat. Good views from land can be had from Fort Taber Park or from the shore along East Rodney French Boulevard in New Bedford.
